Is this Charles W Taylor?

He is possibly Charles W Taylor who appears on the 1901 census of England and Wales as a 23 year old agricultural labourer born at Ringmer and boarding at the house of Ambrose Gorringe at Littleworth, Barcombe.  This man may also be related to George Taylor who also features in the parish magazine.

In later years, a Charlie Taylor and his wife lived next door but one to the Horns Lodge pub in South Street, Chailey.  Charlie Taylor was a retired roadman and his wife was the village "midwife" who could also be called upon to lay out those parishioners who died.  A photo of Mr and Mrs Taylor appears on a linked page from The Horns Lodge website and I reproduce it on this page.
